“I’ve been using Creme of Nature’s Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo and I’m realizing now that I use it more out of habit than for what it does for my hair. In fact, I’m beginning to think it’s actually a major cause of my hair woes. You’ve done posts on your favorite DCs and favorite leave-ins…do you have any posts on favorite shampoos?”
At present, I’m playing around with shampoo bars and natural soaps for shampoo and I rather like the difference.
That said, when my experimentation goes awry, I go back to my tried and true shampoo lines (listed in order of my personal preference):
1. Deva Curl (Reviews pending on this line, I’m still testing it out.)
2. Say Yes to Carrots/Cucumbers
3. Aveda
4. J/A/S/O/N
5. Organix
I’ve reviewed many shampoos from these lines (see thier corresponding categories at the right).
They consistently put our shampoos that have served me well, ACROSS their brand, relaxed, natural, and texlaxed!
In other words: I can pretty much just grab any of their shampoos and be at least 80-90% satisfied and fully satisfied when I take a couple minutes to look for a shampoo that meets my hair’s immediate needs, within these brands.
Number 2, 3, and 4 can be found a t drugstores and are more affordable than number 1 and number 5 which must be purchased at salons or salon-store hybrids (like Ulta, in the case of Deva Curl).
I hope that’s helpful, albeit a bit vague, my dear.
Thank you for reading! ^_^

BeeMine has a nice shampoo – Botanical Moisturizing Shampoo – it’s natural.
