Beloved readers, while natural and texlaxed, I enjoyed this product immensely.
I must say, however, using the conditioner from this line as a leave-in gave me the same phenomenal results of this product.
This is like Beyond the Zone Noodle Head to the tenth degree, and is actually “healthy” for your hair.
This product turned me from drug store brands to the Salon-side for quite a while! It is worth EVERY penny.
That said, do not hesitate to ask for samples. Aveda salons are happy to oblige in that respect.
Natural cover girls, if you are 3b or a loose 3c/4a go for it.
If you are not: do not expect perfect spirals but, moisturized, soft hair is most definitely within your reach with this product.
This cannot give you what you do not have, speaking of texture. Do not expect to “shingle” with this, my dears.
You all know, beloved readers, that I enjoyed having such a cute package in my bathroom! It has that whole “organic vibe”. It is a pain to squeeze product out of, unfortunately. Its cute font and calming color scheme make up for this.
The product itself has a creamy consistency, is terribly thick, and featuring Aveda’s “Pure-fume” it is just a pleasurable experience all the way around –something like herbal grasses, (slightly masculine) florals and tree bark. (It smells better than it sounds, but you have been warned.)
I can use less of the Be Curly Conditioner each night, when I use it as a leave-in, in comparison to the amount of the Be Curly Enhancer I need to receive the same visual result. That amount is small, considering how a little bit goes a long way with this line.
Update: Though the conditioner costs $3 more, I prefer it as my leave in. I may return to this as my leave in for shine factor, I’m not sure.
Update: Eventually I moved onto other things that would better my hair’s appearance and not just its health. I want more definition and mirror-shine –two things it does not give my fully natural 3c/4a hair (texlaxed 3c/3b).
